Tantalum Ionization Energy

The Tantalum Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Tantalum.
Ta -> Ta+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Tantalum is:
TaN+ -> Ta(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Ta -> Ta1+ = 761 kJ/mol = 182.06 Kcal/mol
Ta1+ -> Ta2+ = 1500 kJ/mol = 358.85 Kcal/mol
Ta2+ -> Ta3+ = 2100 kJ/mol = 502.39 Kcal/mol
Ta3+ -> Ta4+ = 3200 kJ/mol = 765.55 Kcal/mol
Ta4+ -> Ta5+ = 4300 kJ/mol = 1028.71 Kcal/mol
